The two main styles of headstones are in-ground and upright gravestones. In-ground monuments lay flat at the top of the gravesite. They usually measure 24” by 12”; however, we can cut them larger or smaller as needed.
Upright grave headstones come in many shapes and sizes. The size ranges from 20” to 30” long and 30” to 48” tall. An upright headstone comes in two pieces – the base and the die. You can get a die cut in a classic gravestone shape with an arched top. We can also cut shapes like rectangular, square, teardrop, or oval. You can attach vases or potted plant holders to the base of the headstone. Vases are great to have, so you have somewhere to put live or artificial flowers. Potted plant holders are good if you want to keep larger plants in their place.
Porcelain Plaque
Porcelain plaques are copies of an image printed on a ceramic tile using fade-resistant ink. You can have a porcelain plaque with a picture of your loved one made to put on the face of the headstone. The picture gets attached to the front of the monument with strong adhesive.
If you choose to add a porcelain picture to the headstone of your loved one, we suggest that you select a sharp picture with a high resolution. The image can be of a single person, couple, or multiple people. Color pictures are the most common, but you can choose a black and white photo.
